“Recently Added” becomes the wrong music.

A user reports that requests for a Recently Added playlist select unrelated music or produce contradictory playlist claims. Another commenter describes trouble with that particular playlist while other playlists work.

u/DifferentRanger7081 reports that asking Siri to play “recently added,” even with “playlist” included, selects a song by an artist using that name. Making the request more explicit allegedly produces a claim that two matching playlists exist, which the author disputes. They also report a request for Katy Perry songs from their library starting a broader radio selection instead. The author says these tasks worked before switching to Siri AI and that they mainly use Siri while driving, but does not identify a device or confirm CarPlay use.
