The record

Apple previewed macOS Sierra and said Siri was coming to the Mac for the first time. The release described opening Siri from the Dock, the menu bar or the keyboard, and asking it to find files, send messages, start FaceTime calls, change system preferences and search Photos. Apple said results could be dragged into documents or pinned in Notification Center, and noted Siri would now be on all four of its software platforms. The company cited its own figure of two billion Siri requests a week. This entry records an announcement, not independent testing.
