In a post dated December 11, 2024, a user says they had just updated their iPhone to iOS 18.2 and were trying Type to Siri. When they asked about the ChatGPT integration, a notice appeared that Siri was working with ChatGPT, with no confirmation step. Asking Siri why it had skipped confirmation triggered the same handoff again. They responded by turning the feature off. This is one user’s experience with an early Apple Intelligence release.
