The record

Apple announced HomePod mini as a lower-cost speaker built around Siri. The release said Siri would recognize different household voices and tailor personal requests such as messages, reminders and calendar entries, with multi-user support limited to English. Apple also described a daily update request, smart home control, Shortcuts made on iPhone running on the speaker, and the new Intercom feature. It said requests were not tied to the user's Apple ID. This entry records an announcement, not independent testing.
