In a post dated January 30, 2025, a user who uses Siri in Dutch says asking for directions to a contact produced an unrelated question instead of a route. They add that Siri tried to interpret shortcuts named with everyday words rather than running them. On their HomePod, when it did not recognize their voice and asked who was speaking, every answer ended with Siri saying it could not do that. They also say one-time scheduled home requests, such as setting the thermostat at a certain hour, no longer worked. This list reflects one user’s experience in one language.
