In a post dated September 24, 2025, a user with an iPhone 16 Pro on iOS 26.0 says the issue began around iOS 18. When they asked Siri for the temperature by voice in CarPlay, a weather banner appeared but Siri gave no spoken reply. Holding the phone button on their steering wheel and asking the same thing did produce a spoken answer. They had hoped iOS 26 would fix it, and this is one driver’s report.
