In a post dated August 16, 2023, a user with an iPhone 14 Pro on iOS 16.6 says Siri had reliably read out notifications from apps like Messages and Home through their AirPods. They report that during that week every announcement stopped. They tried turning the announce setting off and on and restarting the phone, but nothing came back. This is one user’s report and the cause was not identified in the post.
